Australia Research -Thank You Day Event (29 Oct 2007)   PDF  Print  E-mail

“Thank You” Day is a event organised by the Research Australia that gives Australians the opportunity to say "thanks" to the health and medical researchers for their efforts in medical research. This year’s “Thank You” Day campaign was launched on the 29 October at Martin Place in Sydney, one of the city’s busiest commuter traffic areas.

The Australasian Research Institute (ARI) was honored to be invited as one of the  exhibitors of this event presenting information related to  ' Lifestyle diseases' . We were delighted to have  an overwhelming response from the visitors showing their interest in participating in our 'body fat analysis' and getting to know more about our research institute.

A very big thank you to all of our sponsors including the  Sanitarium Health Food Company, The Sydney Nut & Sweet Company and The Good Nuts Company  for sponsoring a range of healthy products for our visitors to take home.

Other health information booths that were on show to the public include “Healthy Heart” presented by Heart Research Institute,  “Healthy Bones” presented by Osteoporosis Australia, “Asthma” presented by the Asthma Foundation NSW, “Climate Change on Health” presented by the University of Sydney, Water Quality, MBF Australia, the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Macquarie Bank.
